Hi All, History: about 3 weeks ago our 3 year old neutered DSH cat had a urinary blockage, which was quickly cleared, but resulted in on-going problems with bladder irritation and thickening of the bladder wall. Ok. So Meep does have idiopathic cystitis, tons of struvite crystals (and unfortunatly, almost too much blood to see them. Another test in a week). This, despite daily glucosamine supplement, as much canned food as she'll eat (not easy!), and a bottle-type waterer (not electric). So. Vet ha..

All, I'm trying to do some research on the best foods to feed Meep for her long-term health. Right now she's on Royal Canin Urinary dry, but the package actually says to feed it only for up to 12 days, or up to 6 months. My vet didn't mention that the urinary was for short-term use only... Is ..
