Post subject: Feline spraying and chemically removing the order

I have a 9 month old male Persian, who has recently begun spraying our basement. Today I found online a dry chemical to remove odor from carpets. With this chemical you shake on, scrub in, vacuum up.
I really do not want to have to neuter my little guy. Does anyone know of the chemical I am speaking?
