Hi and sorry to hear of your problem. The only advice I can give- I'm no expert mind you-just a longtime cat owner- is from my own experience. ; maybe she could not make it to her litter box and that is why she went in the sink. The medicine may of given her weak bowels- I only say this because she did not go on your floor but chose to go in a somewhat contained area i.e. the sink. I once had a cat that on a normal basis went in the shower. I actually liked it-no need for a litter box-scoop in up with tissue and flush it; then spray and clen the tub. Was actually cleaner than the litter box. I know this is a different circumstance, but at least it was not on your floor. 2500 is alot of money for anyone to have to spend and if her health deterioarates then putting her down is ,sadly, your best option. If her condition causes her pain than you must do so- it is not fair to her. What dollar amount can you put on a pet? I dont think there is one. I have had this terrbile situation before and I just tell myself that until that point where that needle causes them to go to sleep forever I knew in my heart that they had had a good home and a great life. I think quality of life sometimes is much more important than it's quantity. Hope some of this helps and my prayers are with you. God Bless- Greg
